Imran is not a high IQ schemer..he is more of a glorified puppet hero who is quite at the mercy of his puppeteers who allow him enough hubris and mileage to make him appear autonomous and in control. Whether it is women in his life, his exes, generals and foreign powers, he thinks he is extracting his mileage off these but the mutual exploitation is heavily in the favour of the other parties that he is enough of 'semi autonomous puppet'...call him 'SAP'.

Yes Trump is correct. You are part of the problem of enabling the loot of Pakistan by the Military Generals, Zardaris and Sharifs who have been looting US funds, IMF Funds.

Imran Khan has been relying on favors that he later repays by allowing others to exploit Pakistan. We have already seen how he agreed to remain silent on Kashmir in exchange for a mere meeting with Trump. If he is released and returns to power, Pakistan risks becoming another Syria or Iraq.

Good article, but regardless of how much US would want & wish Imran to be in power, China and Saudia are equally opposed to him for a number of reasons, besides Pakistan nuclear & missile programmes are too much important and Estab having learnt its lessons and burnt badly with Imran experiment, would not accept Imran back into power after what he and pti have done in last 3 years especially on May 9.

What if it was all planned long ago? Remember the Goldsmith angle and the scaling down of CPEC during his otherwise incompetent almost four-year tenure? The USA bashing could very well be a political gimmick since "Awam" loves this narrative.
