Here is how it all has worked out for Netanyahu (Bibi) and Trump (Baba). Trump allowed Israel to squeeze the life out Gaza and gain territory by piling up 70,000 dead bodies, 20,000 among them children. The pile is growing, and so are the occupied miles. Greater Israel unlocked.

Netanyahu kept his part of the deal by starting the assault on Iran’s nuclear assets, levelling the ground for Trump to waltz in and take charge. Greater than ever Trump unlocked. Both created a global illusion of ‘strategic divergence on Iran’ to hide the deal.

Now Netanyahu is Trump’s proxy and pivot, from the Levant to Pakistan’s borders. Trump for his part can now negotiate with the Gulf states on his own terms, use this new ingress to depress China’s CPEC and revive IMEC (India-Middle East, Europe Corridor), signed into a memorandum at the G20 summit in 2023 in New Delhi. You don’t have to be a rocket scientist to figure out why Trump took a seemingly neutral position during India’s aggression against Pakistan. Modi couldn’t deliver Netanyahu type of goods. He was beaten back. If that had not happened, you would have had Trump tweeting “TOTAL SURRENDER”, “TAKE THE DEAL”, “DEESCALATE” type of warnings to Islamabad.

But the Iran saga isn’t over yet. There is a lot of fight and much bloodletting left. And even more uncertainty that could eat into Trump and Netanyahu’s big dreams.

Meanwhile, every state in the region and the adjoining areas must be asking the key question-'if the Trump-Netanyahu duo backed by their poodles in Europe can do this to Iran, what would stop them from doing this to us? The answer is: Nothing. When you choose to hear no evil, stop no evil, and see no evil just because the evil is sitting on your neighbour’s shed and not yours, you are forfeiting your own future.
